From July 26 to 29, the 19th Xiangya Caring Camp was successfully held in Changsha. The event attracted a total of 117 families with type 1 diabetes from 16 provinces across the country. Xiangya Caring Camp is sponsored by the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, China Type 1 Diabetes Alliance, and jointly organized by Sinocare Diabetes Foundation and Sinocare Inc., to provide physical and mental support for type 1 diabetes groups and help them grow up with happiness and health.

The Camp not only provided free physical examination for families with type 1 diabetes, but also invited a team of professional doctors to provide a number of practical popular science education courses for participants and to answer these families' questions. This activity divided participants to different age groups and then set up courses and games suitable for their ages. Li Xinyi, Chairman of Sinocare Diabetes Foundation, said: “The mission of Sinocare Diabetes Foundation is to help people with diabetes live a happy and healthy life through education and innovation. We are also summing up our experience and promoting the experience of Xiangya Caring Camp to the whole country. We are expected to hold nearly 60 similar activities this year, hoping to help more families with type 1 diabetes achieve a happy and healthy life.”
